Parking around the hospital has been an issue for years, and Robert Perry is well aware of this. Yet, DPW is doing no one any favors by leaving up this sign on Columbia Street that is the incorrect sign for the parking situation. Contrary to what the sign conveys, parking is allowed to the left of the sign, and the area is regularly full of parked cars on the weekdays. The sign should have one arrow pointing in the direction of the fire hydrant zone -- the curb to the right of the sign is yellow; the curb to the left is unpainted. What you don't want are drivers ignoring signs or being confused by them. Apparently, Hudson DPW does not see things this way.
HUDseen is a mostly pictorial blog dedicated to exposing all things dangerous, ugly, hypocritical, and inexplicable in Hudson, NY that go unseen or ignored by Hudson City Hall. As well as other random, curious, concerning, and interesting things seen and tripped over in Hudson.
