Has Anyone Seen Mark Carter?

The irresponsible, absentee landlord Mark Carter who owns 562 State Street and lives in Stuyvesant?  Do you know him?  Have you seen him lately?  Is he still alive?

If you can get in contact with him, please ask him why he hasn't cut the grass, weeds, and dead flowers alongside his house on 6th Street for like two months.  Ask him why he always lets his grass and weeds grow too tall before he gets them mowed.  Please remind him that cutting grass and weeds is his responsibility, not anyone else's, and that his grass should have been cut at least 4 weeks ago.  Please remind him that he must keep the sidewalk in front of and beside his house free and clear of debris, weeds and dead flowers (not to mention snow and ice).  Please remind Mark Carter that even though he does not live in the house at 562 State Street, or park on 6th Street, he is still responsible for maintaining the property, sidewalk, and the grass strip at the curb in a timely fashion.  Please remind him that his tenant is not going to do any outside maintenance -- it will only happen if Mark makes it happen.

Also, if any readers are on good terms with Hudson Code Enforcement Officer Craig Haigh, please ask him what his office has done about the code violations at 562 State that he was told about weeks ago.  Please ask Craig if he has done anything about this, or if he is still "working on it."  Has he tracked down Mark Carter and spoken with him?

Or, to make things easier, just ask them, "WTF is going on at 562 State along 6th Street?  How is this acceptable?"
