What Would Building Contractors Do Without Those Noisy and Cumbersome Lifts That Need 18 Wheels And A Big, Loud Diesel Rig To Get To and From A Job Site?

The enormous, 4-floor Pocketbook Factory certainly wasn't constructed using any noisy gasoline-powered mechanical boom lifts that required a diesel burning behemoth of a truck to transport them to and from 6th & Washington from who knows how far away.  (No, that building was constructed in the late 1800's by real men with rickety wooden ladders!)  But renovating the factory (and so many other buildings here in Hudson) can't seem to proceed without the lifts that never seem to stop beeping when in use.

Where Are The Prison Terms? Where Are the $250 Fines? Where Is The Community Service or Restitution? Where Is The Enforcement of Our City Code? Why Does City Hall Continue To Fail Us?

The active enforcement of any municipal code of rules should be simple and straightforward.  And there should be no toleration for a lack of enforcement of any part of the code.  Unfortunately, this is too often not the case in Hudson.  Just take a walk in any of our alleys.

Hudson's "Proprietors" Must Be Rolling Over In Their Graves While Cursing Rob Perry and Kamal Johnson!

Promenade Park's lovely dog waste station is creeping closer and closer to the fence along the western edge of the park that overlooks our million-dollar views of the Catskill Mountains and the majestic river the City of Hudson was named after, views that most municipalities would kill for. It is now in its third location, close to the middle of the park atop an otherwise respectable stone wall that could be over 225 years old.  Do we have Rob Perry to thank for this obscenity welcoming everyone to the city's most popular attraction?

How On Earth Is This Acceptable? How Is This Good For Hudson Residents or For Anyone Besides The Pocketbook People?

HUDseen hopes to do a big dive into the unwelcome parking situations surrounding the Pocketbook Hudson Hotel and Baths  -- on Prospect, on W...
