CLOSED? INCLEMENT? REALLY?

According to the City of Hudson website, City Hall is closed today due to "the inclement weather."  Around noon, I opened the door to the Columbia County office building at 401 State Street and was greeted, as expected, by the receptionist and the security guard.   The guard told me that the building and offices were open.  Hudson City Court was in session this morning from 9 -11 and the Court office was staffed.

I saw nothing approaching inclement weather today or last night.  Did Hudson get more than 3 inches of snow?  I saw clear, snow and ice-free streets at 8 am.  Snow was predicted, not "inclement weather."  And that is what we got -- a small amount of snow, not a storm or any problems.  Who the hell makes the decision to close City Hall when a little snow falls?  If the HCSD closes the schools, does City Hall do the same automatically?  This is ridiculous.
