7th Street, Where It Is Safer To Walk In The Street

This is what Galvan left us with several weeks ago when they tore 3 perfectly fine, functioning houses out of the ground on N. 7th Street.  It used to be a respectable, accessible sidewalk.  Now it is an insulting, disgraceful, dangerous, ugly and worthless so-called sidewalk.  And City Hall (mayor, dpw, code) are fine with leaving it and letting anyone who dares to walk on it.  They and Galvan really give a crap about our welfare and decent sidewalks, don't they?

It's all so dispiriting.  Galvan's big, useless sign by their "sidewalk" might as well read: WE DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR IF YOU FALL FLAT ON YOUR FACE AND DIE.  WALK IN THE STREET IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT.  OUR APOLOGIES IF YOU GET HIT BY A CAR OR TRUCK.
