Are drivers supposed to stop to read this sign? |
7:30 pm last night at 6 Prospect Ave., parked on the wrong side |
11 hours later, at 6:30 am. Still parked on the wrong side. No tickets! |
You didn't do anything wrong,
you were just parked on the
wrong side of the street
Last night, HPD most definitely issued $15 WRONG SIDE PARKING tickets to vehicles parked on the even side of city streets. Here is one on that was ticketed on State Street for parking on the "wrong side" of the street even though neither the DPW plows nor the DPW street sweeper were out.
Welcome to Hudson!
Pay up, pal!
Here is a car, with Virginia plates, ticketed on Warren Street last night, a few hundred feet from Prospect Avenue.
Here is what Hudson Police Chief Ed Moore informed me of two months ago via email:
Is that so, Ed? When was the last time any car parked on the wrong side of Prospect Avenue was issued a WRONG SIDE PARKING ticket? How about in front of 6 Prospect Avenue?
