Ten days after HUDseen reported that the dumpster blocking the sidewalk next to the former church on the corner of Columbia & 6th was finally gone, nothing much else has changed. No contractors have been seen or heard working on the building, no one has been using the lovely white porta john next to the sidewalk, and the pile of dirt and stones left behind in the middle of the sidewalk remains untouched. And you know what else? No one from Code Enforcement, DPW or the Mayor's Office (including the ADA coordinator Michael Hoffman) gives a flying crap. That mound of dirt could be a huge pile of dog shit, and it would still be ignored by City Hall.
HUDseen is a mostly pictorial blog dedicated to exposing all things dangerous, ugly, hypocritical, and inexplicable in Hudson, NY that go unseen or ignored by Hudson City Hall. As well as other random, curious, concerning, and interesting things seen and tripped over in Hudson.
