On June 19th of this year, HUDseen published an article critical of the condition and sight of third ward council member Shershah Mizan's house and property at the corner of Fairview and Green Streets. Soon after the article appeared, and likely soon after Shershah read it, a few of the issues were attended to, those being the least offending of the several issues.
At least 7 weeks ago, Shershah removed both of the ancient and crumbling concrete sets of stairs in front of his house. At least seven fucking weeks ago! Notice that the mailboxes are near the front doors. Since there is nothing preventing visitors from using what remains of the stairs, I guess he doesn't mind people trying to make their way to the top and back down to the sidewalk without falling or rolling into the truck route and becoming roadkill!
"Greater Public" what? |
Shershah Mizan is one of eleven council members making important decisions for the future of Hudson. People actually voted for this guy to once again become a council member representing the 3rd ward after a 2-year hiatus! Can you imagine?
At top of the list of the issues Shershah Mizan was most concerned with last year while running for office was "Public Safety"! (He is obviously more obsessed with safety than I am!) Then it was "Better Infrastructure." Are you fucking kidding me?
The only time Shershah ever opens his mouth at meetings is to tell everyone that the triangle at the top of Columbia Street is really dangerous and that "something needs to be done." If that sounds familiar, it's because it is! Yes, it's the same useless drivel and "concern" he used to regularly spout three and four years ago as a phony council member who got nothing accomplished. But he took home $5,000 and probably got some sweet health insurance coverage for doing absolutely nothing! Same as this year and next!
Shershah is so busy seeing that Hudson is improving that he can't replace his own stairs. What a stellar example he and his house are for all the council members and every Hudson resident! We should all follow in his footsteps (if we don't fall flat on our faces first)!
