It Must Be Nice To Be Loaded With Money, Entitlement and Disrespect!

According to the city's online parking ticket portal, this BMW has been ticketed five times in the past three weeks.  Three of those tickets were for Parking In A Fire Zone, which carries a fee of $50.  All three of those tickets were issued when the car was blocking the same fire hydrant, the one at the northwest corner of 6th & Long Alley that is surrounded by yellow curb.  The third ticket was issued last night, 40 minutes after I called HPD.

Shouldn't there be a special ticket fee for recidivists who don't get the idea that parking even partially in a fire hydrant zone is not acceptable?  If $150 or $300 is nothing to someone, shouldn't the city at least get something out of trying to teach the wealthy a lesson?  'Cus something ain't getting through to the owner of that Beemer.

Also parked at least two feet from the yellow curb

A few minutes before the officer arrived to issue the BMW its third Fire Zone violation ticket in 18 days, he did a swing-by to be sure the call was legit, then drove back to the station to get a charged parking ticket machine and returned to 6th Street where the car was still waiting to be ticketed.  The high-tech gadgetry inside HPD vehicles does not allow officers to issue (print) parking tickets.  Criminal violation tickets and traffic tickets to appear in court? Yes, they can print and issue those.  Parking tickets?  No!  No officer on patrol can immediately issue a parking ticket to an illegally parked car they come across on their own.  This is nuts.
