Today is recycling day on the city's north side, a day late because of yesterday's holiday. Yesterday was the day to place your waste-filled fast-food bags on the ground for DPW to "recycle" for you today. No questions asked. No inspection necessary. The DPW crew will just bend over and pick up every little bag of fast-food waste that you leave on the ground and throw it in the truck with all the other recycling headed for the recycling pile at the County transfer station. Thank you for recycling so respectfully. It really helps them out considerably!
Rob Perry will also allow you to leave a full blue city garbage bag out 4 days early (or more) and not bother issuing you a violation ticket or try to talk to you about the code violation and quality of life issue that you have created. He doesn't care if vermin spend several days ripping into your garbage bags, strewing food and waste all over the place. That's not a problem for him. Perry will also allow you to put a non-blue bag full of waste out that DPW is not supposed to touch and that is also a clear code violation. By doing nothing, DPW will encourage you to do the same thing every week, because you know that there is no consequence for doing whatever the fuck you please with your garbage and "recycling" in the City of Hudson. DPW will see all of this right up close and do absolutely nothing to force you to follow the rules and stop doing what you shouldn't be doing.
But your small bags of fast-food garbage left on the ground for DPW to remove on recycling day? Now that's something they can handle and that tax revenue pays for them to do. Week after week after week. Keep doing it! Put out every single bag of fast food garbage you are able to for them! It's not at all a problem for Rob Perry (he probably loves that you do it!), and he and his department can afford to continue recycling your fast-food garbage for you every week. Tell your neighbors to do the same! Plus, the people at the Columbia County transfer station love to see fast food waste in their recycling mix. Give them more! Every week! Make everyone happy!!! Recycle for a brighter tomorrow!
