Welcome To (The Entrance To) Hudson.

Click below for more fun pictures!
Pictures can't convey how badly damaged the shoulders
are along both sides of the hill leading in and out of town.
It's a continuing reminder to all cyclists, including those
taking advantage of the Empire State Trail, that the
City of Hudson doesn't give a shit about them.  It's
nothing but pure neglect, carelessness and stupidity.

For at least the past two weeks.
Is there anything in the city code having to do with sleeping and leaving one's belongings on a sidewalk, whether a tent is involved or not?  If there is, I can't find it.  If there isn't, there probably should be.  We might be seeing more of this very soon.  The precedent has been set; this seems to be acceptable.

"Welcome to Hudson.  Please don't leave your dog shit
on our sidewalks!"  Isn't that what the sign is saying to
all drivers entering the city?  Could there be a more inappropriate
place for that sign?  Or, for the past two weeks, a more appropriate
place?  Dog shit? No!  Someone "living" on the sidewalk with their
belongings there at all times?  Yes!
