get across 3rd street safely?

A total of 20 small CROSS ONLY ON GREEN signs were recently installed by the City of Hudson at 5 intersections along Warren Street between 3rd and 7th streets, with 4 signs at each intersection...

 There are also 4 of these signs at 3rd and Union, and possibly more elsewhere.  There was zero discussion of these signs at any recent Informal Common Council meetings. 

As soon as HUDseen discovers how much the city spent on the signs and what departments were behind this dubious effort, that information will be published.

If you want to guess the total amount of money spent on these 24 signs, please submit your guess.  I'm thinking they cost at least $30 a piece, for a total of $720.
