Welcome to the f'n park! Enjoy your f'n stay!

 


This table in the 500 block pocket park has been covered in graffiti for well over a year.  I made both the DPW and the Mayor's office aware of this long ago on multiple occasions, including pointing out the worst parts of what is written and drawn on it.  I also pointed out to both of them that this park is the nearest public gathering space to City Hall.


DPW recently removed all the wood from the benches in Promenade Park and gave them a new coat of paint.  And Rob Perry let everyone know at the most recent Informal Common Council meeting that DPW is removing public trash cans to maintain them, replace the lids when necessary, and give the wood slats a new coat of varnish.  Both of these tasks remove graffiti from public spaces on city property.
