Oh, The Hypocrisy and the "Confusion"!

I took this picture in the early evening yesterday, Friday, March 10th, an even-numbered day.  The Volvo was parked in front of 6 Prospect Avenue, located on the even side of the street.  According to tax records, 6 Prospect Avenue is owned by Robert W. Perry, Jr. and Patrice O. Perry.

Snow fell last night and into this morning, the 11th of March, an odd-numbered day for those concerned with parking their cars on the WRONG SIDE of the street, being issued a $15 WRONG SIDE PARKING ticket, and/or being in the way of DPW snowplows when there is snow.
Any cars parked on the even side of Prospect Avenue between Rossman and Warren Streets during the early morning hours today should have been issued a $15 WRONG SIDE PARKING ticket by HPD.  Our Police Chief even knows this.

At 8 am this morning, still an odd-numbered day, the Volvo was still parked in front of 6 Prospect Avenue, as was a silver BMW, the snow covering them showing they had both been parked there overnight.  The BMW looks an awful lot like the BMW I have seen being driven by our DPW Superintendent Robert Perry, Jr.

There were no $15 WRONG SIDE PARKING tickets on either car parked overnight last night on the WRONG SIDE of Prospect Avenue in front of number 6.  Is it possible that the cars' owners are not aware that the Alternate Side Parking Rule applies to Prospect Avenue? Or, like many of us are guilty of, did they just forget about the rule last night?  The last time I forgot to move my car to the other side of State Street, I was issued a $15 WRONG SIDE PARKING ticket by HPD.  They didn't forget to ticket my car.  No, siree, they did not.
