Has The Common Council Finally Reached The Dreaded Committee & Meeting Fatigue Stage?

Whatever !!!

On the 1st and 2nd of this month, the Legal Committee and the Truck Route Committee meetings were both cancelled. Neither of those meetings was rescheduled, so the committees' next scheduled meetings are in June.  Alders Margaret Morris and Mohammed Rony serve on both of those committees.

This is the second consecutive month that a monthly Truck Route Committee meeting has been cancelled and the fourth cancelled meeting this year.  That's right, so far this year just one meeting has been held -- on March 7th.  While Morris did attend that meeting (she is the chair of the committee), Rony did not. (I believe he was out of the country.)  The meeting lasted all of 32 minutes.  5 months, 32 minutes.  What exactly is the committee hoping to accomplish?  To have someone on 9G weigh the trucks wanting to pass through the city?

Why even bother?
