The City Ordered A Flatbed Trailer For The Flag Day Parade. How Do You Suppose It Arrived On Front Street?

Why, of course, by way of the Alternative Truck Route (ATR)!!!  And possibly from the State of Maine!!!

On State, approaching 3rd

Still off the truck route, approaching 2nd Street

Off of the ATR and onto Front Street!

Delivery made, no need for the truck route.
LET THE PARADE BEGIN!

The driver of this truck and flatbed combo with Maine plates arrived on the ATR either by coming down Columbia Street past CMH and straight onto State Street or he turned off of Green Street onto State, ignoring the one tiny sign above the opposing lane of traffic that was trying to tell him to NOT TURN and to stay straight ahead ON THE TRUCK ROUTE!  There were once two signs trying to make this point to all truck drivers on Green at State, but one fell off in a breeze over a year ago and has never been replaced by DPW!  That's the spirit, Mr. Perry!  We need more of that spirit, Mr. Perry!!!

The sign above on the right disappeared over a year ago!
Think Robert Perry and the mayor care?

Not one person at Hudson City Hall cares that trucks routinely use the ATR several times every day.  Not even our DPW Superintendent Robert Perry and certainly not the mayor!

Please tell me that flatbed did not come from Maine and that it will not be returning to Maine when the parade is over!!!
