Is This The Best Kamal Johnson Can Do For Us and For Visitors? Or... Welcome To Hudson, Bowling Capital Of Bygone Days!

Who the hell can read this sign while driving by at 20 or 30 miles per hour?  Who the hell needs to read this sign?

Are the decades-old successes of a high school sport really what we want drivers taking their eyes off the road to (attempt to) read about?  Especially about bowling!

What the hell is a NYSPHSAA, why was it abbreviated, and why is it in such small print?

How much money did this sign cost and who approved its creation and installation?

As much as I despised this "sign" for years, it offered
a more accurate and honest glimpse into City Hall
 than its replacement does.

A few weeks ago, I noticed that there is no speed limit sign on 9G/South 3rd Street between Power Avenue and Allen Street for drivers about to enter downtown Hudson.  It appears that Kamal Johnson is more interested in celebrating the good old days of Hudson when bowling was a thing rather than keeping our streets safe. He seems to live in some sort of creepy alternate reality, doesn't he?
